Drops In’s Welcome!

Tai chi, short for T’ai chi ch’üan or Tàijí quán, is an internal Chinese martial art practiced for both its defense training, its health benefits and meditation. The term taiji is a Chinese cosmological concept for the flux of yin and yang, and ‘quan’ means fist. Wikipedia

Tai chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that, today, is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. … Yoga includes various physical postures and breathing techniques, along with meditation.

Tai chi helps reduce stress and anxiety. And it also helps increase flexibility and balance.

Please Note: Tai Chi in the park suspended until warmer weather returns in 2021!
