
Announcing Caroline Leedom as our Soul Center Outreach Coordinator!
We are excited to announce that we will be more involved in outreach programs and would like to introduce our very own Caroline Leedom as our new Outreach Coordinator. She will be facilitating volunteer outreach programs for Soul Center OC and has some exciting opportunities for involvement in both our local community as well as abroad.
Our 2017 Holiday Outreach:
1. Food drive for our local homeless veterans through a program called “Meals In A Box”, www.mealsinabox.org, which is a project supported by The Newport Beach Sunrise Rotary Foundation, a 501C3. Click here for top 10 items requested:http://www.mealsinabox.org/top-10-items-requested/
Top Ten Items Requested The homeless prefer easy open containers of protein, but we will accept all food donations. Canned tuna Canned chicken Peanut butter Canned vegetables Canned fruit Little bags of nuts Little bags of dehydrated fruit Spam Protein bars Bottled water
Please bring canned and packaged food items to service on Sundays Nov. 27th and Dec. 4th
2. Toy drive for 4 orphanages and the Lincoln Elementary School in Rosarito, Mexico, a project supported by Ayuda International, a 501C3. http://ayudaint.org/

Especially needed:
Soccer Balls- 4 needed for each orphanage
Basketballs- 4 needed for each orphanage
Soft Toys- for children to hold while they are in the dental chair at the clinics for Rosarito Clinic- held at Lincoln Elementary School-
Toys do not need to be wrapped or labeled.
